Trout ‘n’ about Festival 2026

Trader Information & Terms

Applications & Booking

·         Applications must be submitted via the official application form. Unfortunately, we can’t guarantee that applications sent in any other way will be received.

·         The deadline for applications is 5th April 2026.

·         We’ll confirm successful applications by the end of April 2026.

·         If you’re offered a pitch, you’ll receive an invoice. Payment is due within two weeks to secure your place.

·         Your pitch is only confirmed once payment has been received. If payment isn’t made on time, the pitch may be offered to someone on the waiting list.

·         If your application isn’t successful, you won’t receive an invoice.

·         Fly-pitching is not permitted.

Your Pitch

·         Each pitch is 3 metres x 3 metres, and all equipment must fit within this space.

·         Please make sure there’s enough room in front of your stall for visitors to move around comfortably.

·         The back of your stall should sit along the edge of the road by the white line.

·         Your business name must be clearly displayed at the front of your stall and visible to visitors.

Gazebos & Equipment

·         If you’re using a gazebo, it must be facing the road and be securely weighted.

·         Traders must provide their own gazebo, back panel and weights. Unfortunately, we’re unable to offer hire equipment.

·         Stalls must not operate directly from the ground — please use tables or counters.

·         You’re responsible for bringing all equipment needed for your stall.

Power & Utilities

·         If you require electricity on the Festival Field, please indicate this clearly on your booking form.

·         On the High Street, power is available only at the discretion of local shops and residents.

·         On the Festival Field, power is charged at £25 per 5A supply.

·         Water is not available on site.

·         Small, silent generators may be permitted but must be declared in advance.

·         If you’re using electricity or a generator, we’ll contact you regarding Risk Assessments and logistics before confirming your place.

Health, Safety & Food Standards

·         All traders must comply with current Health & Safety regulations and Food Standards Agency requirements.

·         Relevant certificates must be available for inspection on the day.

·         Food traders must be registered with their local authority.

·         Food traders must have a Food Hygiene Rating of 4 or above (unless exempt).

·         Evidence of registration and rating must be provided with your application.

·         Applications may be declined if required documentation is not provided.

·         Traders are responsible for completing their own Risk Assessment, which may be checked on the day.

Set-Up & Trading Times

·         Set-up is between 07:00 and 09:00, unless advised otherwise.

·         Trading hours are 10:00 to 16:00.

·         Stalls must remain in place until 16:00.

·         We kindly ask that all traders stay for the full duration so visitors can enjoy the complete festival experience.

·         Traders who pack up early may not be accepted at future events.

Clean-Up

·         Please leave your pitch clean and tidy.

·         You are responsible for removing and disposing of all your rubbish.

Parking

·         Parking is not permitted on the High Street.

·         Once you’ve unloaded and set up, please move your vehicle to the designated parking areas. These will be clearly documented and signposted.

Insurance

·         A valid copy of your Public Liability Insurance must be included with your booking form or emailed to traders@tnastockbridge.com.

Cancellations

·         Cancellations must be made in writing.

·         If you cancel before Friday 26th June 2026, we’ll refund your fee minus a £10 administration charge, provided we’re able to reallocate your pitch.

·         Unfortunately, no refunds can be given after 26th June 2026.

·         In the unlikely event that the festival has to be cancelled, no refunds will be issued.

·         The organisers cannot accept liability for any additional costs incurred due to cancellation.

Animals

·         Animals are not permitted on stalls unless agreed in advance with the festival organisers.

Our Festival Ethos

·         Trout ‘n’ About celebrates artisan, handmade and locally sourced produce.

·         We carefully curate our traders to reflect this ethos, so please ensure this is clearly demonstrated in your application.
