Trout ‘n About Terms & Conditions 2024

  1. Trader applications are only accepted via the application form, any other forms of submission will not guarantee a place and might not be picked up.

  2. Applications will only be review if a payment has been made, as requested. If not payment has been made you risk a rejection of your application.

  3. We do not permit fly-pitching. The deadline for booking applications is 1st March 2024. Confirmation of successful applications will take place by the end of May 2024 and be confirmed before the end of April 2024.

  4. Each pitch is 3 m wide. Your entire stall must fit within this width and should be arranged so as to ensure there is an adequate space for visitors to circulate in front of the stall. The back of the stand must be on the edge of the road by the white line.

  5. Every stand MUST have the name of the business displayed prominently at the front of the pitch and be fully visible when viewed from the front of the stall.

  6. Every Gazebo MUST have a back (that is on the edge of the road) and weights. Traders are responsible for their own gazebos, backs and weights. We are unable to provide the hiring of gazebos, backs or weights for this event.

  7. Trestle tables can be ordered at additional charges. Stallholders are not permitted to operate off a rug on the ground.

  8. Stallholders are responsible for all other equipment needed. Electrical power needs to be requested on your booking form and is only available to catering applications but is limited. The charge for this is £25. Water is not available. Only small silent generators will be permitted but you MUST inform the organisers in advance. Any stallholder using electricity and/or generators will be contacted for Risk Assessment and logistical purposes before acceptance.

  9. You must comply with current Health & Safety regulations, Food Standards Agency requirements and have relevant certificates available for any inspecting authority on the day. All stands offering food must be registered with their local authority and if you are not exempt from being rated the rating must be 4 or above. Evidence of this MUST be provided with your application or your application may be rejected.

  10. Stallholders are responsible for carrying out their own Risk Assessment. This may be inspected on the day by a member of the Trout n About team.

  11. Stallholders can set up between 07:00 - 09.00 except where otherwise advised. Trading is restricted to the advertised times (10:00-16:00). You are not permitted to remove your stall before the festival finish time of 16:00. We expect all traders to remain at their stall until the advertised end of the event which is 16:00.

  12. Any stallholders packing up and leaving the event before 16:00 will be noted and may not be accepted to future events. It is important that all visitors to the event get the full experience of Trout n About.

  13. Your pitch must be left in a clean & tidy condition. You will be responsible for clearing of all your refuse.

  14. Parking is not permitted on the High Street. Once set up please remove your vehicle to the designated parking area. These will be clearly signposted.

  15. A current copy of your Public Liability Insurance must be enclosed with your booking form or emailed to traders@tnastockbridge.com

  16. Payment in full must be enclosed at time of booking. Post-dated cheques will not be accepted. Please contact accounts@tnastockbridge.com for any finance related questions.

  17. If your application is unsuccessful, we will refund your money in full.

  18. Pitch cancellation must be in writing. For cancellations before 30th June 2024, the fee will be returned minus an admin fee of £10.00 providing the pitch can be re-let. No refunds will be given after 30th June 2024.

  19. In the unlikely event that the festival has to be cancelled no refunds will be given. The organisers will not be liable for any other expenses due to event cancellation.

  20. You are not permitted to have animals on your stall unless agreed in advance by the festival organisers.

  21. All applicants should remember that the Trout 'n About Festival concentrates on artisan, hand-made and locally sourced produce and any application success will depend on this ethos being evident in your application.
