Trout n’ About traders: All you need to know…
TnA volunteers will be out and about on Stockbridge High Street early on Sunday August 3 helping traders set out their stalls. But before the big day, here are answers to some of traders’ most frequently asked questions…
Q. What time should I arrive to start setting up?
A. Arrival is from 7.30am. Both ends of Stockbridge High Street will be open until 9am, when the road will be closed.
Q. What time do traders need to have their cars off the High Street?
A. No later than 8.45am, please!
Q. Where is the trader car park?
A. The trader car park is in a field on the Longstock side of the River Test bridge, two minutes walk from the Salisbury end of the High Street. To enter the car park, traders will need a pass, which must be filled in with all their details. Passes will be given out by TnA volunteers on the morning of the event, during set-up. The what3words code for the entrance to the car park field is ///relegate.toothpick.happier.
Q. What if I need my vehicle with my stall, for refrigeration purposes?
A. Please let us know ahead of the event, so we aren’t chasing you on the day to shift your car.
Q. How do I know the number and location of my pitch?
A. Check the map of the High Street that accompanies this blog post. Stall numbers for the 140-plus pitches will be marked out, on the day. Any problems, just speak to one of the TnA volunteers.
Q. Do I need to bring all necessary paperwork on the day?
A. Yes! If, for example, you are selling alcohol (by the glass or bottle) you will need a TEN from your local authority. Bring the paperwork with you in case it is needed to be viewed by the TnA team. Or officers from Test Valley Borough Council...
Q. Anything else?
A. On the day there, will be a team of TnA volunteers on hand to help. But if you need anything before then, email traders@tnastockbridge.com
