More parking for visitors to Trout n’ About 2025
We’re excited that we’ve been able to make Trout n’ About safe for everyone again this year by arranging for the High Street to be closed.
The A30 (High Street) will be shut from 8.30am, on Sunday August 3. There will also be more parking for visitors this year.
Signs will direct visitors to park at…
🚗 Car Park East – up the road from Stockbridge, off the Andover Road, at the What Three Word location cries.locked.solids
Visitors using this car park can catch one of the fabulous old King Alfred buses ferrying passengers to the White Hart roundabout, at one end of the High Street.
🚙 Car Park West – this year, just off the A30, at Danebury School (quest.wheat.zeal). This car park is a five-minute walk downhill, to the other end of the High Street.
Parking charges have been held at the same level as last year – a very reasonable, £5 per car.
🚕 Disabled parking – for Blue Badge holders only – at the doctors’ surgery on New Street (W3W /// magazine.modes.genius) and, at the other end of town, on the bridge over the River Test.
We’re expecting another 10,000 visitors for what’s become established – over more than a decade – as one of the most popular days of the year in Stockbridge.
