Robbie Culley to play on the Trout n’ About Festival Field

Robbie Culley may well be the best-known - and most popular - busker in the south of England.

But on August 3, he will be playing Trout n’ About’s Festival Field.

Robbie’s soulful voice regularly reverberates through Winchester city centre. He always draws enthusiastic crowds - and frequently generates viral TikTok moments.

His show-stopping performance of Can’t Help Falling in Love, while dancing with 80‑year‑old passer-by Clare in Winchester, created local news headlines. It also generated more than 40 million Tik Tok views!

Robbie will play two sets on Festival Field.

Also on the bill is Hampshire’s own Annie Jo Baker whose show spans jazz, pop, blues, and 50s vintage classics.

She is warm, expressive, heartfelt… and you’ll love her! Annie Jo will also play two sets.

Back by popular demand are Winchester’s Kalyna Ukrainian Choir, founded by Ukrainian women to share their folk heritage through song.

Their repertoire features folk melodies and contemporary pieces. They hope their performances will raise awareness of what is happening in their homeland.

And finally – fitness trainer by day, popular crooner by night – John Liddington also returns for a second season at Trout n’ About.

Beyond the music, the rythmn of the day will be helped along on Festival Field – where Stockbridge FC usually play their home games – by stalls selling ice creams, coffes, cocktails and fizz.

The stalls will include Black Chalk Wines and Longdog Brewery – and John the Greek’s legendary kebabs.

Children’s entertainment will be provided by hugely popular circus performer Juggling Jake and face-painter Glitterbugs.
